- cHECKED OIL,PUT IN 4 QUARTS OF OIL AND CRANKED THE ENGINE. OBSERVED BLUE SMOKE. REMOVED PLUGS AND SCOPED THE CYLINDERS. GOT MORE POWERFUL SCOPE AND RE-CHECKED CYLINDERS.

- Connect battery charged, record any current DTCS, Download and update current flash file to the appropriate modules.
- Jump started vehicle, pulled into shop and checked charging system voltage. Was charging 14 volts. Found interior lights were staying on when all doors were closed. Dimmer switch had been turned to keep interior lights on. Suspect this is what killed battery. Next day put battery charger on battery for 2 hours. After charging, started the vehicle headlights and wipers came on immediately and would not turn off with switches. Performed hard reset on TIPM. Fixed wiper and light issues. Tested for any additional Parasitic draws. All ok now. There is an update available for TIPM software.
