BUYER BEWARE ! Previously loved this shop, however, the last time I went in they quoted me a remarkably high price for tie rod replacement. My friend commented that their price of $795 seemed overly expensive. I asked the guy at the desk at J Medic why this would cost so much and was told there's a lot of labor involved. I checked with 2 other local mechanics... One in downtown Winston Salem quoted $500 if every single tie rod needed to be replaced which would be quite uncommon. The other mechanic in Thomasville quoted $395 if every single tie rod needed to be replaced and also said that would be quite uncommon. Don't know if they pull this overpricing on everyone or just women. Contemplated informing the owner/manager but figure he's probably the one directing this robbery so no sense in that. d
Hello Julia, it seems that you have yet to read the email i sent you last week in response to the issues your having with the quote you were given. In the email it states that an error was made when quoting the work and that i was willing to make it right by correcting the price and in addition, giving you a discount on top of that to make up for our mistake. I would appreciate if you would reach out to me directly to discuss what was quoted and why before insinuating that were all crooks out to take advantage of you...
