Very disappointed with my most recent experience. My wife's Toyota Highlander needed rotors replaced. Took the SUV here after having good experiences with them working on my Jeep. I said by phone, then again in person, I wanted a quote for all four rotors to be replaced, not just the two that I already knew were warped. David showed me a paper with what I recall as being around $380 on it to which I said: "That's not as bad as I thought it would be". Transparently, I haven't had to replace rotors before and don't know a ton about cost/labor associated with doing so. Fast-forward to the work being done later in the same week, I go to pick up my wife's SUV. I'm told it is nearly $800. The $380 was evidently per axle, not altogether. If that's the price, that's the price. However, it plainly wasn't presented that way nor was I shown, let alone did I sign, a quote for nearly $800. The first time that total was floated was when I had to pay it. Had I known that there was that large of a difference between 2-4 rotors, I likely would have only opted to get the front replaced. I'm fortunate to be in a position where I can afford a $400 unexpected expense; however, y'all should really do better because some people simply couldn't have paid that, nor should anyone have to after being told something that I consider to be somewhat, possibly inadvertently, deceptive. **Edit** - Response to owner: I found the quote and it does breakdown $372 twice, but with no total presented anywhere on the quote. I allowed my prior positive experiences here to drop my guard. I'll take some ownership because I should have went through the quote with a fine toothed comb. However, I believe the fact that a grand total is not presented on the quote, along with the lack of a verbal explanation with the cost total of the charges for services, is a deceptive practice and the reason why I will not be returning to this shop. I don't feel like it is asking a lot to present clients with an out the door price that they sign for PRIOR to your shop completing the work. This would have saved any confusion or misunderstanding.
Hello Zach, I apologize if we weren't verbally clear on the total cost for all four rotors to be replaced, but when you came in on Monday for the brake inspection, we supplied you with a written estimate that clearly stated the cost for the Front and Rear brake rotors, labeled and priced out separately. Again I'm sorry for any confusion, we do our best to be as transparent as possible.
